On April 12th, 2018, the Peabody Education Foundation received a very generous donation of $1,000 from North Shore Bank! 100% of this donation will be going directly to our Best Bet Program which helps fund resources and programs that are outside of the regular school budget. At the beginning of every school year, we invite teachers to submit an application for a program that will enhance the education of their students. Once we receive the applications, we fund as many programs as our budget allows us. In 2017, we raised $30,000 which helped fund 44 of the 70 applications that we received. Our goal for the 2018-2019 school year is $40,000.
We would like to thank North Shore Bank for supporting our foundation in our mission to provide resources and innovative programs to Peabody students. Their commitment to education as well as charitable giving enriches our communities and contributes to the overall betterment of our area.
